It was hard to get motivated to go out for that, you know? :)

The "Next year they throw the ball at you" is priceless. lolBonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10096591352278195759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26613104.post-34355777540380143792009-02-15T21:02:00.000-05:002009-02-15T21:02:00.000-05:00What a great post about sports. One was soccer, with her brother, when she was in 3rd grade, and yesterday was her last basketball game for her one and only season of that. She tried hard. Now, my son loves sports. I wish he'd do more, just for the physical activity.

Sorry to take up so much comment space. Actually, of doing two seasons. Youngest has ditched baseball after two years of T-ball. Doesn't want the next level. He's played two seasons of soccer and loves it. He is on his first season of basketball and loves it. Eldest did five years of baseball and hated the last year of it. I think he's into his seventh year of soccer and enjoys it, but won't go beyond playing recreationally. Daughter is the anti-sport. But dance, dance, dance, dance she does. I think she's in the best shape of them all.Patois42https://www.blogger.com/profile/07764936858778730692noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26613104.post-65837929835057718232009-02-15T13:40:00.000-05:002009-02-15T13:40:00.000-05:00I'm glad you didn't skip this one! I don't think there's anything wrong with requiring kids to try it out, but once that's done and they still don't like it, chuck it. IMHO, that is. :)Pirate Princesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12164956276371481421noreply@blogger.com
