Golden rules
I saw these rules many years ago in an Ann Landers column and cut it out and tucked it away.
I finally cleaned out a closet that has been haunting me and this little worn out paper fell to my feet.
Imagine if everyone( my boys) followed these simple, sensible steps?
#1 is for my son who always leaves the seat up(while doing #1)
#9 is for my remote thief
#8 is for my Ketchup Kid
1. If you open it, CLOSE IT.
2. If you turn it on, TURN IT OFF.
3. If you unlock it, LOCK IT.
4. If you break it, ADMIT IT.
5. If you can't fix it, CALL SOMEONE WHO CAN.
6. If you borrow it, RETURN IT.
7. If you value it, TAKE CARE OF IT
8. If you make a mess, CLEAN IT UP.
9. If you move it, PUT IT BACK.
10. If it belongs to someone else, GET PERMISSION TO USE IT.
11. If you don't know how to operate it, LEAVE IT ALONE.
12. If it doesn't concern you, MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS.

Lucy I think I cut this one out in the seventies....I always read Ann Landers...it was a part of my youth... my mom did as well!
Great reminder....I'm sure many moms will cut and paste this for later reference! Like the tell all about the boys too! We have a few remotes for that reason alone!
Hugs Sherrie
Simple rules like these could potentially solve, or prevent, the world's problems.
Cute picture too. :)
super cute photo and i love the simplicity of these rules ~ so good if more people followed them ...
