My first haiku

hypnotic roses

drip with beauty of summer

shift sulks into smiles

This is my youngest son Joey and I at the planting fields Arboretum.
It was a gorgeous day but Of course like many teens.. He was a bit sullen about coming along. This gorgeous arbor of Roses had my spirit beaming and helped bring him around to really enjoying the day!
hope u visit 3 word wednesday!

Very sweet. I can smell the roses from here. Boys never like to be seen in public with their mom. It is all genetic.

I like it, for me, I prefer not to count syllables, haikus are really about a single thought or a single moment, at least I think so -- so I think you did a good job

Perfect! Love the picture, too! I can smell the roses and the 'people' are gorgeous!
