Forever I carry you everywhere
I carry your joys worries and fears
I carry your opinions beliefs ideas
Dreams wished for or wishes broken
Sometimes shared sometimes unspoken
I carry your heart aches and pain
disappointments that remain
I carry your achievements and wins
hearty laughs devilish grins
I carry your humorous punk pranks
your thoughtfulness sweet-thanks
I carry your love and kisses on cheek
your quirky ways & moody streaks
I carry memories of your childhood lives
along with visions of your prospective wives
I carry muted prayers for your future years
lavish with health happiness short on tears
I carry the memory of each precious birth
willing you strength pride self-worth
I carry my eternal thanks to heaven above
For granting me the weight of unconditional love
Three sons I shall love from their infancy till I depart
Three sons I treasure carrying forever in my heart

Nothing better than the love of a mom.
Lucy! You made me get all teared up!! Beautiful. I can't imagine loving more deeply than I love my own children......your words are very true.
have a beautiful weekend.
Lucy, that was beautiful. Your sons are fortunate to have such a wonderful parent. Take care.
Oh Lucy you put tears in my eyes with this one! That is really beautiful!
Oh, that was a great poem! I admire your writing style.
Nothing better than carrying our children!
what a loving tribute to a mothers love....
A wonderful list of love carried for your children. Well written!
That was just beautiful. When we become parents, their dreams also become ours.
I got it was your kids before I saw the photos and it choked me up as a mother (of a 26 and 28 year old).
I'm trying to find out the answer to why Art Linkletter looked in woman's purses. I think it was a game and you won something if you had the right item.
That was a very sweet poem!
Just like your soul my dear...it was just beautiful! Your sons are truly blessed to have you for their mom!
Hugs Sherrie
"For granting me the weight of unconditional love," you are so very lucky and very blessed, as are your sons who have such a great Mom!
How blessed your sons are to have you as their mother. Keep this poem always - they may appreciate it now but when they are older it will be pure gold to them.
I can't even begin to tell everyone HOW happy your supportive comments make me feel! I'm still feeling 'silly' to have my amateur poetry viewed.
Hearing things like " I admire your writing style" and 'well written' and 'you put tears in my eyes'...
